raftered
Having ceiling beams
Having rafters—the sloping beams that support a roof.
The word appears almost exclusively in descriptions of ceilings or interiors where the structural timbers are visible: a raftered hall, the raftered ceiling of the old barn.
It evokes rustic or traditional architecture.
