Crispy Chinese dumpling
A pot sticker is a Chinese dumpling with a thin wheat wrapper enclosing a filling of ground meat and vegetables, pan-fried until the bottom crisps while the top steams.
The name comes from how they stick to the pan during cooking.
Usually served with a dipping sauce of soy, vinegar, and chili oil: We ordered pot stickers as an appetizer.
