pica
Sixth-inch printing unit
Pica names two unrelated things.
In typography, a pica is a unit of type size equal to 12 points or about 1/6 inch, used to measure line lengths and column widths.
In medicine, pica is a disorder involving persistent cravings to eat non-food substances—dirt, clay, chalk, ice, paper.
The condition occurs in pregnancy, childhood, and certain nutritional deficiencies: Her pica during pregnancy had her eating laundry starch.
