Parmigiana is a style of Italian cooking in which meat or vegetables are breaded, fried, and baked with tomato sauce and melted cheese—typically mozzarella and Parmesan.
Eggplant parmigiana and chicken parmigiana are the most common preparations: I'll have the chicken parm.
