Circuit breaker housing
A panelboard is an electrical distribution board that receives power from a main source and distributes it through circuit breakers or fuses to branch circuits.
It's the metal cabinet housing the breakers in a building's electrical system—what most people simply call the breaker box or fuse box.
The electrician installed a new 200-amp panelboard in the basement.
