paean
Song of exultation
A paean is a song or expression of praise, triumph, or thanksgiving.
Originally a hymn to Apollo in ancient Greece, the word now describes any enthusiastic tribute: The documentary is a paean to small-town America, Her speech was a paean to the virtues of hard work.
The tone is celebratory, even reverential.
