exaltation
State of bliss
Exaltation is intense elation or joy—the feeling of being lifted up, whether spiritually, emotionally, or in status.
Religious contexts speak of the exaltation of saints or the soul.
More broadly, it describes any state of heightened happiness or the act of raising someone to a higher position: a moment of pure exaltation, the exaltation of ordinary people to celebrity status.
In an ornithological quirk, exaltation is also the collective noun for a group of larks.
