nasalizing
Speaking through nose
Nasalizing is pronouncing sounds through the nose, directing airflow through the nasal passages rather than just the mouth.
French vowels are famously nasalized.
Someone with a cold or affected speech pattern might be described as nasalizing: She was nasalizing her vowels like a cartoon aristocrat.
