sinusitis
Infected facial cavities
Sinusitis is inflammation of the sinuses—the air-filled cavities in the skull around the nose and eyes.
It typically causes facial pressure, congestion, and headache.
Most cases follow a cold or allergies, when the sinus passages become blocked and infected: I've had sinusitis for two weeks and can barely breathe through my nose.
