military power
A nation's force
Military power is a nation's capacity to wage war or project force through armed strength.
It encompasses troops, weapons, equipment, and the ability to deploy them effectively.
A country with significant military power can defend its territory, pursue strategic interests abroad, and influence international affairs: The balance of military power shifted after the alliance formed.
The term also describes relative strength: No nation could match their military power.
