Crescent-shaped kitchen blade
A mezzaluna is a curved blade with a handle at each end, rocked back and forth to chop herbs, vegetables, or other foods.
The name is Italian for "half moon," describing the blade's crescent shape.
Some versions have two parallel blades: She minced the parsley with a mezzaluna.
