media library
Digital file repository
A media library is a collection of digital files—images, videos, audio, documents—organized for storage and retrieval.
In content management systems and software applications, the media library is where users upload and manage assets: Upload the logo to the media library first.
The term also applies to physical collections of recordings, films, or broadcasts maintained by institutions.
