video archive
Stored recording collection
A video archive is a collection of video recordings preserved for future access, typically organized and cataloged for reference or research.
Libraries, news organizations, and studios maintain video archives of historical footage, broadcasts, or productions.
The term also applies to personal collections: I've been digitizing my family's video archive of old home movies.
