medevacing
Helicopter casualty transport
Medevacing is transporting someone by medical evacuation—typically by helicopter or aircraft from a combat zone, disaster site, or remote location to a hospital.
The term comes from military use but applies to any emergency airlift of injured or ill people: They're medevacing the wounded to the field hospital.
Also spelled medevacking.
