Asian sequential art
Manhua is Chinese comics or graphic novels, the counterpart to Japanese manga and Korean manhwa.
The term covers a wide range of styles and genres, from action and romance to historical and fantasy.
Like manga, manhua is often serialized online or in magazines: I've been reading this manhua about martial arts cultivators.
