lumbermen
Timber industry workers
Lumbermen is the plural of lumberman—a person who works in the lumber industry, especially one who fells trees or processes timber.
The term evokes an earlier era of logging before mechanization: The lumbermen worked the northern forests through brutal winters.
Now largely replaced by logger or forestry worker.
