guild hall
Trade union building
A guild hall is the meeting place and headquarters of a guild—historically, a building where craftsmen or merchants of the same trade gathered to conduct business, set standards, and socialize.
Many medieval European towns had prominent guild halls, some of which survive as historic landmarks.
In fantasy games and fiction, a guild hall serves as a hub where players or characters accept quests, form parties, or manage guild affairs: Meet me at the guild hall after you've sold your loot.
