Volleyball defensive players
Liberos is the plural of libero, a defensive specialist position in volleyball.
The libero wears a different colored jersey and substitutes freely for back-row players but cannot serve, attack above net height, or set for an attack from the front zone.
A team's liberos rotate in to strengthen passing and digging: Both liberos saw significant court time in the match.
