digging
Shoveling into earth
Digging is the act of breaking up and moving earth or other material, typically with a shovel or hands.
The word extends to any vigorous excavating motion: digging through old boxes in the attic.
In informal use, digging can mean strongly liking or appreciating something: I'm really digging this new album.
