instancing

Giving specific cases

Instancing is creating or citing a specific instance of something.

In computing and gaming, instancing means generating separate copies of an environment or object—a dungeon that exists independently for each player group, or multiple copies of the same 3D model rendered efficiently.

More generally, instancing is the act of giving examples: She kept instancing cases where the policy had failed.
