hypermobility
Joints bend too far
Hypermobility is an unusually large range of motion in the joints, allowing them to bend or extend beyond normal limits.
Some people are naturally hypermobile without problems—often called "double-jointed"—while others have hypermobility syndrome, where the flexibility causes joint pain, frequent dislocations, or fatigue: Her hypermobility made her a natural gymnast but caused chronic knee problems.
