mobilization
Readying for action
Mobilization is the act of organizing and preparing resources for action, especially assembling military forces for war: The mobilization of troops along the border signaled escalating tensions.
The term extends to any large-scale organizing effort: voter mobilization, community mobilization, the mobilization of public opinion.
To mobilize something is to get it moving and ready for use.
