hyperactive
Can't sit still
Hyperactive describes excessive activity or restlessness beyond normal levels.
A hyperactive child can't sit still in class.
The term has clinical weight—attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is characterized by hyperactive behavior—but casual use is common: My brain gets hyperactive at night.
An overactive immune system or imagination might also be called hyperactive.
