double jointed
Bendy beyond normal
Double jointed describes unusual flexibility in the joints, allowing limbs or fingers to bend beyond the normal range: She's double jointed and can bend her thumb back to touch her wrist.
The term is informal and somewhat misleading—there's no extra joint involved, just looser ligaments.
The medical term is hypermobility.
