joint stiffness
Inflexible hinge feeling
Joint stiffness is difficulty moving a joint through its normal range of motion, often accompanied by discomfort or a sensation of tightness.
It commonly occurs after periods of inactivity or as a symptom of arthritis and other conditions: Morning joint stiffness is typical of rheumatoid arthritis.
The stiffness may ease with movement or persist throughout the day.
