hexacopters
Six-propeller flying machines
Hexacopters are drones or unmanned aircraft with six rotors, offering greater stability and lifting capacity than quadcopters.
The six-rotor design provides redundancy—if one motor fails, the craft can still fly.
Hexacopters are used for aerial photography, surveying, and carrying heavier payloads: The film crew used a hexacopter for the overhead shots.
