guider
One who steers
A guider is someone who guides—leads, directs, or shows the way.
The word is less common than guide itself, appearing mainly when emphasizing the person's role rather than the act: She was my guider through the bureaucratic maze.
In some Commonwealth countries, Guider (capitalized) is the title for adult leaders in Girl Guides organizations.
