solar tower
Concentrated solar plant
A solar tower is a power-generating structure that uses mirrors or heliostats arranged around a central tower to concentrate sunlight onto a receiver at the top, producing intense heat to generate electricity.
The technology is also called a power tower or central receiver system.
The solar tower can reach temperatures exceeding 1,000 degrees Celsius.
