gravitation

Universal pulling force

Gravitation is the force by which objects with mass attract one another.

In physics, it governs planetary orbits, falling apples, and the structure of the universe.

The word also describes movement toward something as if drawn by gravity: the gravitation of young people toward cities, a natural gravitation toward leadership roles.
