chimneypot
Smoke stack terminal
A chimneypot is a ceramic or metal pipe fitted to the top of a chimney to improve draft and prevent downdrafts.
The cylindrical shape rising above rooflines is characteristic of British architecture: rows of Victorian chimneypots against the evening sky.
