featurettes
Short DVD extras
Featurettes are short supplementary videos, typically ten to thirty minutes long, that accompany a main feature film.
They most commonly appear as bonus content on DVDs and streaming platforms, offering behind-the-scenes footage, cast interviews, or explorations of special effects and production techniques.
The Blu-ray includes several featurettes about the making of the film.
The term distinguishes these brief documentaries from full-length features while acknowledging they offer more substance than a simple trailer.
