faddists
Slaves to trends
Faddists are people who enthusiastically adopt fads—temporary enthusiasms for diets, exercises, ideas, or trends.
The term carries a dismissive edge, suggesting someone who follows passing fashions uncritically: Health faddists swear by whatever superfood is trending this month.
The singular faddist describes an individual devotee of such crazes.
