faddish
Hot, then forgotten
Faddish describes something characteristic of a fad—a short-lived enthusiasm or trend.
A faddish diet attracts intense interest before being forgotten.
The word carries a dismissive tone, suggesting the thing lacks lasting value: The restaurant's faddish menu items rotate constantly.
Faddishness implies superficiality or fickleness in tastes.
