Garment border finishes
Facings are outer coverings or trim applied to surfaces.
In clothing, facings are pieces of fabric sewn along edges—necklines, armholes, front openings—to finish and reinforce them.
In construction, facings are materials applied to exteriors: brick facings on a concrete building.
