egg toss
Backyard breakage game
An egg toss is a game where partners stand apart and throw a raw egg back and forth, stepping farther apart after each successful catch.
The challenge is handling the fragile egg gently enough that it doesn't break.
It's a staple of picnics, field days, and summer gatherings: We won the egg toss at the company barbecue.
