beach volleyball

Coastal net game

Beach volleyball is a variant of volleyball played outdoors on sand, typically with two players per side rather than six.

The softer surface and smaller teams demand different movement and strategy than the indoor game.

It became an Olympic sport in 1996.

We played beach volleyball until sunset.
