echogram
Ultrasound image printout
An echogram is a visual record produced by an echocardiogram, echoencephalogram, or other ultrasound imaging device.
The term appears most often in medical contexts, where sound waves bouncing off internal structures create diagnostic images: The echogram showed no abnormalities in the heart valves.
Also called a sonogram.
