dispositions
Innate behavioral tendencies
Dispositions are the natural tendencies or inclinations that shape how someone typically behaves or responds.
A person with a cheerful disposition tends toward optimism; one with a nervous disposition is prone to anxiety.
The word also covers the arrangement or placement of things: the disposition of troops along the border, the disposition of furniture in a room.
In legal contexts, disposition refers to the settlement or final outcome of a matter, including the transfer or distribution of property or assets.
