Bent yellow squash
Crookneck is a variety of summer squash with a curved, narrowing neck and yellow skin.
The neck bends near the stem end, distinguishing it from straightneck squash.
Like other summer squashes, crookneck is harvested young when the skin is still tender: We grilled some crookneck from the garden.
