crookneck squash
Bent yellow vegetable
Crookneck squash is a yellow summer squash with a curved, bent neck and bumpy skin.
The flesh is mild and tender when harvested young.
Unlike winter squashes, it doesn't store well and is eaten soon after picking: We grilled some crookneck squash from the garden.
