sighthounds
Speed-built canine hunters
Sighthounds are dogs bred to hunt by sight rather than scent, pursuing prey at high speed across open terrain.
The category includes greyhounds, whippets, Afghan hounds, and salukis—breeds with lean bodies, deep chests, and long legs built for sprinting.
Sighthounds can spot movement from great distances.
