cobia
Large migratory gamefish
Cobia is a large, powerful game fish found in warm coastal waters worldwide.
It has a distinctive dark stripe along its side and can reach over 100 pounds.
Prized by sport fishermen for its fight and by cooks for its firm, mild flesh, cobia is sometimes called lemonfish or black kingfish: We caught a thirty-pound cobia off the pier.
