citylike

Having municipal character

Citylike describes something resembling or characteristic of a city—urban density, tall buildings, busy streets, or metropolitan atmosphere.

A suburb might have a citylike downtown, or a sprawling campus might feel surprisingly citylike.

The word often marks a contrast: something has city qualities without actually being one.
