citified

Accustomed to metropolises

Citified describes someone or something that has taken on the characteristics of city life—often with a hint of criticism.

A person who's become citified has acquired urban manners, tastes, or attitudes, perhaps at the expense of rural simplicity: He came back from college all citified.

The word can also describe places that have lost their small-town feel: The downtown has gotten too citified for my taste.
