Speedy small greyhounds
Whippets are small, slender sighthounds resembling miniature greyhounds, bred for racing and rabbit hunting.
The name also refers to small pressurized canisters of nitrous oxide, intended for whipping cream but commonly inhaled for a brief euphoric high: Kids were doing whippets in the parking lot.
