townscape
View of buildings
A townscape is the visual appearance of a town or urban area—its buildings, streets, and overall layout as seen together.
The term parallels landscape but applies to built environments rather than natural ones: The medieval townscape remains largely intact.
Urban planners and architects use townscape when discussing how cities look and feel to those moving through them.
