centile
Distribution ranking point
A centile is a value below which a certain percentage of observations fall—the 90th centile means 90 percent of values are lower.
The term is interchangeable with percentile, though centile appears more often in British usage, especially in medical contexts: The baby's weight is in the 75th centile for her age.
