cat scratch disease
Feline-transmitted bacterial illness
Cat scratch disease is a bacterial infection transmitted through scratches or bites from cats, especially kittens.
It typically causes swollen lymph nodes, fever, and fatigue.
The condition is usually mild and resolves on its own, though it can be serious in people with weakened immune systems.
