brucellosis
Unpasteurized milk hazard
Brucellosis is a bacterial infection transmitted from animals to humans, typically through unpasteurized dairy products or direct contact with infected livestock.
The disease causes fever, fatigue, and joint pain that can persist for months.
Also called undulant fever or Malta fever, it remains a concern in agricultural communities worldwide.
