bungy

Stretchy jumping cord

Bungy is a variant spelling of bungee, the elastic cord used in bungee jumping and for securing loads.

The spelling appears most commonly in New Zealand, where commercial bungee jumping originated: bungy jumping off the Kawarau Bridge.
